Patricia Taylor (Pat)

Patricia Taylor passed away suddenly but peacefully on Saturday 25th September 2021.  A loving mother to Dawn, grandmother to Daniel, Emily and Bliss and great granny to Nancy.

She was also aunty Pat, nana Pat and Mrs Taylor to scores of children and members of the communities whom she served and will forever hold a special place in their hearts.  Never one to shy away, she continued to work right up until the day before her death with the children of Shuttleworth College, where she ran whole school Nurture Provision. She was loved and respected by her colleagues many of whom she counted as close friends.

She will be remembered as being a strong caring woman, with a wicked sense of humour, an unshakeable belief in the goodness of people and shining optimism even in the hardest of times. She will be dearly missed and leaves behind a legacy of hope for the future for all those who she loved, worked with and helped throughout her remarkable life.

Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Patricia are being gratefully received on behalf of Brighter Lives Northwest via the donate button below

Nana pat saved my life, I genuinely wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for her. She made me feel like I wasn’t broken, and she made so many others feel the same way. A beautiful soul, gone too soon. Sleep peacefully ????

I knew Pat was a very special lady from the first time I spoke to her. Her love and pride for her family shone through. She was such a strong, caring person who didn’t have a bad word to say about anyone. So many people, who she helped through the years, have her to thank for turning their lives around. I will think of her often and remember her with love and a smile. I am so lucky to have had the privilege of being her friend.
