Patricia Holden ‘Pat’

Peacefully with her daughter at her side at Townfield Care Home on 21st March 2024, Pat aged 81 years formerly of Langho. The devoted wife of the late David, much loved mum of Julie and her partner Ian, cherished grandma of Rebecca and William, great-grandma of Archie and Millie, dear sister of David and also a respected relative and friend to many.

Following her school years Patricia began her working life in Burnley working in offices in a clerical role, she later worked for Matthew Brown and Lancashire Police at the Hutton Site, she was a natural office whizz and loved carrying out her rolls with great attention to detail. Pat was a lover of nature and the simple things in life and she loved nothing more than escaping to the Lake District to enjoy the fresh air and rugged scenery aways accompanied by her much adored companion dogs. Holidays were always looked forward to and her favourite destination in the UK was Looe, Cornwall and she managed to enjoy her last holiday just a few years ago, she also enjoyed her annual road trip to the south of France with David to meet up with friends making many wonderful memories.

Following a decline in her health, Pat was taken in to the loving care of Townfield care home where she settled and was lovingly cared for by the wonderful team enabling her to live her final years in comfort and peace in a place that she could call home.
