Patricia Hey “Pat”

Peacefully in hospital and of Blackburn on 28th April 2018, Pat, the devoted and much loved wife of Alan, loving mum of Kevin, dear mother-in-law of Helen, cherished grandma of Annabel, dear sister of June and also a dear auntie and friend to many.

Pat was the proprietor of the general store on Newbank Road, Blackburn and Livesey Branch Road, Blackburn where she spent many a happy hour and made many friends. Being a real people person, she loved nothing more than to have a good chat with her customers. In her spare time, she enjoyed her trips to Marks and Spencers supserstore in Warrington where she could have a good shop. Following her retirement, she enjoyed her trips to Lytham. Pat always liked to go to the hairdressers to keep her hair pristine and catch up on the latest gossip and she looked forward to her meals out. Particular favourites were the Royal Oak at Riley Green and the Spread Eagle at Mellor.
