Patricia Ann White (Pat)

On 11th July 2018 peacefully in a private care home, Pat aged 86 years of Barrow, formerly of Gt Harwood.  The loved wife of the late Duncan Winter and the late George White, much loved mum of Shirley, Philip and stepdaughter Jenny, dear mother-in-law of Tony and Gillian, loving grandma of Jonathan, Robert, David, Emily and also a loving step-grandma of Peter, Andrew, James and Jonathan.

Pat worked as a cashier at Williams Deacons bank in Accrington and then at the Nat West bank in Gt Harwood, before working for Brian Hartley Accountants in Gt Harwood, and then for several years as a shop assistant at Upstairs Downstairs.  She was a very sociable person who loved working there and was always very smart and beautifully presented.  Pat was a wonderful person with a positive attitude and a generous heart and she was devoted to helping and caring for others.  She loved her garden and in particular flower arranging and she organised all the flowers and coffee mornings at Green Park Court.
