Pamela Clegg ‘Pam’
Pam passed away peacefully following a short illness in hospital surrounded by her loving family aged 74 years of Scout Bottom. The devoted wife of the late Tom, loving and loved mum of Angela, Andrew and Adam, dear mother-in-law of Leanne, cherished and adored nan of Jayde, Lucie, Charlie, Lucas, Harry and Myles, dear sister of Tony, a loved ‘auntie Pam’ and respected relative and friend to many.
Matriarch of her family, Pam had endless love to give, she was the go to person for many and she was selfless in her giving, helping so many people throughout her life and she always had the best advice to give. She was the most loving mum, nan and friend and loved nothing more than gathering the family for a celebration becoming lovingly known as ‘Party Pam’. Born in Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire, Pam made the move to Rossendale as a child with her family and she remained living in the Burnley Road East area for the rest of her life, becoming a well known and loved face in the local community. Pam adored the sunshine and loved nothing more than jetting off for a holiday where she would enjoy some well earned rest and relaxation whilst topping up her year round suntan. She also enjoyed camping holidays in the UK when the whole family would gather for fun filled days and long evenings gathered around the camp fire, creating special memories that will be forever treasured. Pam loved to be out and about, enjoying meals out, shopping trips or just a drive out in her car. In her later years Facebook gave Pam a window to the outside world and she would bring a smile to peoples faces with her daily quotes.
Pam was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, she will be sadly missed by many but fondly remembered.
Pam loved colour her favourites being Pink and Yellow, so please wear something bright for her funeral to reflect this.
