Olwyn Boland

On 15th November 2019 peacefully at East Lancashire Hospice with family by her side, Olwyn aged 68 years.

Loving wife to Kevin, dear sister to Diana and Terry, sister in law to Anne, auntie to Craig and Lisa also her partner Ash, great aunt to Chloe and Cameron, great great aunt to Tia and a special friend to many.

Olwyn served 46 years of her life as the owner of Purple Curl, she was a loyal hairdresser who was passionate about what she did.

In her spare time Olwyn loved Line Dancing and attended several clubs, walking in Lytham with her husband Kevin was another favourite pastime and they enjoyed doing this twice a week, Olwyn would quite often take her sister’s dog Charlie along with them.

Olwyn was a very well travelled lady and her favourite place to visit was the Caribbean.

At home her garden was her sanctuary.

Olwyn was a kind caring lady who liked to give, and with a recent Lottery win of £3500.00 with the East Lancashire Hospice, her generosity shone through when she made a considerable donation back to the hospice to show gratitude for the Care and support they provide.

She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her
