Olive Lord

Olive aged 93 years passed away peacefully at her home of 70 years.

Dear wife of the late Jimmy, loving mum to Tony, Wendy and Geoff, dear grandma to Iain, Ben, Simon, Louise, Emma, Rebecca and Charlotte also great grandma to Oscar, Mia, Jack, Amelie and Zak, sadly missed by her daughter in law Lynne, Paul and Odette also all her immediate family and friends.

Olive was born at 24 Garden Street Accrington and attended Hyndburn Park School. Olive worked in a shoe shop on Burnley Road in Accrington and later as a seamstress at the National Mill Stores. Olive also helped in the war effort making aeroplane wing parts. In 1950 Olive met and married Jimmy and shared family life together with their 3 children Tony, Wendy and Geoff.

Olive will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
