Maureen Fielding

Peacefully on 4th March, 2022 surrounded by her loving family, Maureen, aged 84 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted husband of the late Frank, much loved and loving mum of Michael and Beverley, cherished grandma of Kristen, Emma and Jason and a dear relative and friend to many.

Following her school years, Maureen began her working life in the local mills aged 14 years. She then went on to work as home help before joining the District Nursing Team. With her genuine caring abilities and her naturally caring personality, Maureen was a natural in her work and was loved by all of her clients. She was the most doting family lady and loved nothing more than visits from all her loved ones. Always young at heart, Maureen loved her music especially rock music and always looked forward to attending concerts. She loved the cinema, travelling and weekends away. She was also a former member of Barnes Square Methodist Church and, following its closure, she joined Rishton and Trinity Methodist Churches.

Family flowers only, donations can be made in memory of Maureen to a charity of your own choice.
