Mary Jackson

Of your charity please pray for the repose of the soul of Mary who passed away peacefully in hospital on 12th December 2019 aged 93 years fortified by the rites of Holy Mother Church and of Clayton-le-Moors formerly of  Salford. The devoted wife of the late Bernard, much loved mum of Paul, Josephine, Helen and Barbara, dear mother-in-law of Karen and John, cherished grandma of Simon, Amy, Rebecca, Laura, Catherine and Stephen, great-grandma of Isabelle and Matilda.

Rest In Peace

Mary worked part time as a clerical assistant but she spent most of her time as a devoted housewife, giving all her love and attention to raising her dear family. In her younger years Mary loved to dance and always looked forward to getting on the dance floor to enjoy her ballroom dancing. An avid traveller Mary visited many parts of the world taking in the sights and experiencing the local cultures, her most favourite destinations were Russia and Hong Kong. She had been a member of St Wulstan’s RC Church  for many years and member of the Catenian Association.

A devoted and proud grandma, Mary always looked forward to visits from her much adored grandchildren.
