Moira was an incredibly dedicated and affectionate matriarch whose life centred around her cherished home and family. She enthusiastically engaged in all family activities, with a special passion for music and dancing. She had a unique dance style that never failed to bring a smile to everyone’s face, often being the first on the dance floor and the last to leave. Moira’s warm and naturally humorous personality was evident to all who knew her. Ensuring the happiness of those around her was of utmost importance. She loved to share the hilarious anecdotes of her boys’ youthful escapades, leaving everyone in fits of laughter. Moira was also a huge fan of gossip and always had the latest story about everyone. Her refreshing honesty and unique perspective on the world were legendary. Moira enjoyed watching her favourite TV programs – Coronation Street, Emmerdale, and Heartbeat, and she was never far from a cigarette and a glass of Pinot Grigio. Babysitting her grandchildren brought an extra layer of joy to Moira’s life, and family camping holidays were a tradition she upheld well into her 70s. Moira’s boundless energy and vibrant presence made her the heart and soul of her family. She has left a beautiful legacy of love and laughter and will be deeply missed by them all.
