Martin Patrick Durkan

On the 4th September 2021 suddenly at Royal Blackburn Hospital Martin aged 34 years.

Dearly loved son of Michael and Julie, cherished brother to Barry and Nigel and step brother to Anna and Phillip, a dear dad to Abigail and Jayden.

Martin spent some of his working life as a machine operator for Kerry foods in Padiham. Whilst at home in his spare time Martin loved to listen to his music his radio was always on, rock music was his favourite.

Martin was an avid Manchester United Football supporter and followed them on the television he also loved to watch snooker.

Martin spent Cherished times with his brother Barry attending Airshows, fishing in Scotland and watching one of his favourite bands Metallica in concert. Martin was a friendly man, his smile was infectious and he got along with everyone he came into contact with. Whilst out walking with the family Dog Duke Martin would stop and talk to the people he came across, he always had time for people and would do anything for anyone. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.

Flowers are welcome at the funeral home.
