Marjorie Thomas

Marjorie, aged 100 years, passed away peacefully on 20 March 2021 at Springhill Care Home. Beloved wife of the late Harold, much loved Mum of Malcolm and Graham, mother-in-law to Julie and Jane, cherished Grandma to Scott and Jake and Great Grandma of Harry, and also a much loved and respected relative.

After distinguished wartime service in the WAAF, Marjorie married Harold in 1950 at Stockport and spent all her married life in the Blackburn area. She enjoyed family holidays in Cornwall, sharing the driving and supporting her husband with his many sporting endeavours.

In later life she enjoyed her family and the companionship of close neighbours. Marjorie enjoyed a lovely celebration with many cards and messages for her 100^th birthday.

A devoted Mum, she will be sadly missed by her two sons, her two grandsons and her great grandson but fondly remembered for her many acts of kindness by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
