Marion Jackson

JACKSON Marion nee Sheffield passed away peacefully in Clitheroe on Wednesday, 6 September at the age of 95 years.

Marion, born in Feniscowles, achieved her City & Guilds in Dressmaking at Blackburn School of Art.  She was pre-deceased by her husband, Ronald Jackson, Proprietor of Crook Street Garage, Blackburn. They lived in Blackburn and moved to The Royds, Chatburn in 1961.  Marion was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and is survived by daughters Pamela, Shirley, Hazel, Joanna, son Ronald and grandchildren.

Marion was one of life’s great characters, who had a loving, ‘can-do’ attitude.  She dedicated her life to her family, horses, home and garden.  She will be very sadly missed and will be held dear in the hearts of those who knew her.
