So shocked and sad to hear about Marian. I enjoyed our lunches together in Bolton. Marian was very supportive and kind to me when my mum was unwell. I will really miss her positive attitude and not nonsense approach. Good night and god bless Marian. So sorry I didn’t get to see. I won’t forget you.xx

My prayers and thoughts are with you all. Truly saddened to hear Marian has passed away. I loved working with Marian, her humour mostly and just what a lovely, honest and genuine spirit she was. I learnt a lot just by being around her and she will be a huge loss to many. God bless Marian xxx

So very sad to hear about Marian. I had the absolute please of working with her, and kept in touch after she retired. Marion and i hit it off straight away, and that was down to her kindness, strong Christian beliefs and straight talking. Marian will be so very sadly missed by all those who knew her, especially her devoted family xx

This is such sad news we have just learnt. We knew Marian for over 30 years and although we didn’t keep in regular touch we always had a few laughs when we saw each other. Our thoughts are with Marian’s family at this sad time. RIP Marian xx
