Lynne also spent many years working as a carer and Wellfield & Henley House before moving to Broadfield in Oswaldtwistle. Lynne had a lovely smile and a warm, sunny nature and loved all people. She loved her home and enjoyed reading a good book. Her life was all about family and Lynne was the most doting grandma – every moment spent with her family was precious. My best friend is your daughter, Lynne. Many a special memory was had either in your home or on holiday. You took me under your wing like I was your own. I felt safe when I was around you ( apart from when you caught me and carley drinking underage ) then I was scared ! You was so selfless, thoughtful and cared about everyone around you. I will miss your Xmas cards, seeing you in the street having a natter and just being around. I hope you have found peace with Mick. Your personality lives on in your girls and I want to say thankyou for being apart of my childhood and throughout my adulthood. God bless and rest in peace xxx
