Leon CallonLife loving legend
Peacefully on 17th March 2018 surrounded by his loving family and friends, Leon aged 36 years of Hoghton and formerly of Rishton. The devoted and much loved partner of Klara, loving son of Alison and Ian, treasured brother of Ian and Ben, cherished grandson of Doreen, Barrington and Stella. Leon also leaves Klara’s mum Maria and many much loved relatives and good friends.
Leon lived his life at full speed and still always pushed for that little bit more. A very competitive person, Leon would never bow out of any challenge that faced him including completing a half marathon in March last year. His life revolved around sport, both taking part and also as a spectator. He loved the buzz and the speed of performance cars and enjoyed time on the green with his dad, brothers and mates for a round of golf which was always filled with much laughter and banter. An avid Manchester United fan and season ticket holder, he would attend matches both at home and abroad as far a field as Stockholm and Moscow to watch his beloved team. Leon loved to travel and had visited many parts of the world with work, football, family, friends and with his his soulmate Klara.
Leon truly lived his thirty six years of life to the full and he did more in his too short life than most do in a long lifetime.
Leon asked that you wear something black, white and red for his final match day!!
Donations are being received in Leon’s memory on behalf of St Catherine’s Hospice
