Kenneth Duckworth (Ken)

On 11th April 2021 in hospital, Ken aged 75 years of Church, Accrington. The devoted and much loved husband of Brenda, loving dad of Sarah and Matthew, dear father-in-law of Martin and Tracy, cherished and proud grandad of Ben, Lauren, Oliver, Sophie and Isabelle, dear brother of Jack and brother-in-law of Anne, Dave and Jeanette and a respected relative and friend to many.

Ken started his working life at Lupton Brothers, before moving to K Raymakers where he worked for over forty years up to his retirement. Ken was always dedicated to his work and he worked his way up to Preparations Manager.
Ken loved life, and he made the most of each day, travelling and holidays was always a favourite time for Ken and together with his wife Brenda they have cruised all around Europe and many other parts of the world. They made the long journey to Australia to attend their Nephew’s wedding and then spent three months touring the country. Ken loved to dance and he always looked forward to getting on the dance floor with Brenda for some ballroom and sequence dancing.
Most of all Ken was a devoted family man and the most proud grandad to his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
