Suddenly in hospital on 5th July 2021, Judy aged 73 years of Darwen. The devoted wife of the late Tom, loving mother of Michelle, mother-in-law of Michael, cherished grandma of James and the late Anthony, dear sister of Vivienne and also a respected relative and fiend to many.

Judy spent her woking life as a secretary working at Blithe Chemicals, Ritherdon’s and Blackburn with Darwen Social Services, Judy was always committed to her work, becoming a respected member of her working team. Throughout her working years, Judy made many good friends. She was an avid walker and loved nothing more than getting out in the open air for a brisk walk at Entwistle Reservoir and Darwen Tower. Holidays were always a favourite time of the year for Judy and together with her husband Tom they shared many wonderful trips to Fuengirola, Spain.
Judy was the most doting grandma to her grandsons and always looked forward to spending time with them.
