Jonathan Sanderson – Jonny

On 16th May 2023, suddenly at his home, Jonathan, aged 42 years of Accrington. The dearly beloved son of Christine and stepdad the late Graham, much loved and loving dad of Ethen and Chloe and much loved ex-partner and friend of Kyley, dearly loved brother of Mark, Nicholas and the late Michael, also a dear bother in law of Jenny and a loving uncle.

Jonathan was a natural born daredevil and growing up always said he wanted to be a stuntist (Stuntman). He would throw caution to the wind and jump off roofs. He once jumped from the roof of the family house onto a garden wall and broke his leg but this didn’t deter him and he often jumped off the roof of various factories, also breaking other bones in the process but Jonny was totally fearless. He never learned from his mistakes and average was never good enough so he always had to push the boundaries. Jonathan always wanted what he couldn’t have and when his money came in, he would have spent it all the very same day, sharing it with everyone and buying them a round. At his happiest when he was drinking, he loved taking it to the limit starting with cider, then Black Russians and then some shots. He had been a most talented and brilliant plasterer in his working life. Jonny was the loveliest character and was so easy to love. Jonathan was a huge part of his family and he leaves them with many reasons to smile. Much loved by all, he will be sadly missed.

Spent alot of time with Jonny we were like Jeckel and Hyde – weekends away in Blackpool and getting up to no good and at ocean edge he was defo a character. I personally was speaking to Jonny 2 days before he left this earth and I smiled to myself because it brought back some good memories. I hope ur at peace and I hope u are having a drink with my mum and Mike lots of love to alllll ur family and lots of love 2 u. Sam xxxx
