Please pray for the Repose of the Soul of John of Clayton-le-Moors who passed away peacefully at his home following a brave battle with cancer on 31st January 2024 Fortified By The Rites Of Holy Mother Church aged 52 years. The loved son of Eric and the late Veronica, loving brother of Angela and Stephen and also a loved nephew, cousin, relative and friend.
Avid Blackburn Rovers supporter, John always looked forward to attending Ewood to cheer on his team. John was a regular face at the Albion pub where he spent many happy times chatting away to his friends and was a member of many local snooker, pool and darts teams and with his mathematical brain, John was always nominated as score keeper. He was loved by all his family and friends and he will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
Family flowers only please. Donations are being gratefully received in John’s memory on behalf of East Lancashire Hospice. To make a donation please click the ‘Make A Donation’ button at the bottom of this page.

I’m so glad I got to meet John and see him spending time with the family he loved. I’ll always remember family trivia games, the Rovers game we went to together and the time we surprised him at the pub and got to see his pool skills! He will be missed.
