Peacefully in hospital on 25th March 2021, John aged 89 years of Langho. The much loved and devoted husband of Diana, loving and loved dad of John, cherished grandad of D’Arcy, Roman and Rafe.

Following his school years at the age of 14 John completed a seven year apprenticeship serving his time at East Lancashire Coach Builders, he then went on to complete his National Service before embarking on his life long career with Blackburn Borough Council as a building inspector. In his younger years he had a passion for motorbikes and always kept himself in shape enjoying time out on his pushbike and could often be seen out for a run. Following his retirement at the age of 53, John has travelled all over Europe and America with his wife Diana. John was the most doting grandad and always looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren.
