Joan Scholes

Peacefully on 30th November 2020 at the Royal Blackburn Hospital Joan aged 90 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Cyril, much loved friend of Marian, Harry, Wendy, Paul, Danica, Dean, Isabelle and James.

Joan started her working life with Secretarial roles followed by Bookkeeping she was a hardworking Lady who was very intelligent. Joan spent time with Hyndburn Borough Council as the deputy leader to Peter Britcliffe, she was also the secretary of Clayton and Accrington Con Club. Joan loved her home life with her late husband Cyril and enjoyed many get togethers at Christmas with her friends.

She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
