Jeanette Eileen McNeil (Jean)

Peacefully at her home on 30th June 2020, Jean aged 80 years of Queen Street, Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted wife of the late Trevor, loving mum of Geoff, Michael, Lisa and Darren, loved mother-in-law of Pam, cherished nan of Samantha, Ryan, Louis, Molly and Morgan and a cherished great-nan, dear sister of Keith and a respected relative and loyal friend to many.

Jean was born in Southampton and following meeting the love of her life Trevor she moved to Clayton-le-Moors where she settled for the rest of her life. Her working life started as an apprentice seamstress and later she worked a carer on home care locally around Clayton. She was a loyal and loving lady who devoted herself to the care of others. She loved music and always looked forward to enjoying an evening out socialising with her many friends. Jean was a devoted nan and she always looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren.

Jean will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
