Jean Spibey (nee Hunter)

Peacefully on 15th August 2020 at Burnley General Hospital Jean aged 76years.

Loving wife of Jack, dearly loved mum of Michelle and Jay, cherished grandma of Robyn and Roxanne, dear mother in law of Neil and Tracy also a loyal friend to many.

Jean trained as a nurse at Brockhall Hospital, prior to that she joined a printing company and this is where she was to meet the love of her life Jack.

They married on 8th June 1963 and together welcomed 2 children into the world Michelle and Jay, Jean loved her family life.

She loved going on holiday especially visiting her daughter in New Zealand, and enjoyed many of golfing trips usually with 16 members of Great Harwood Golf Club. Golf was something that Jean and her husband Jack had in common and shared a passion for it. Jean met many of great friends along the way she will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
