Jean's funeral service will be held at St Peter & St Paul's Parish Church, Rishton followed by committal at Pleasington Crematorium.

Jean Beswick Scarr nee Wade nee Livesey

On the 6th January 2022 peacefully at home with family members around her Jean, aged 88 years.

Daughter of the late Jim And Ellen, Sister of the late Joe and Edna, Mum to Neil and Alison, Mother in Law to Suzanne, Grandma to Amy, Sam, Emma, Aidan, Holly, and Ben, Great Grandma to Georgia, Lauren, Ralf, Jacob, Verity, Charlie, Daisy, Sadie, Harrison, and Paloma.

Jean lived in the Blackburn area all her life. She loved meeting people and made many friends over her lifetime. She had various jobs in the community and worked as a dinner lady, pub landlady, chip shop server, chemist assistant to name but a few.

Her family was the most important thing to her and took up most of her time but her other interests included foreign travel, dog walking, crosswords, listening to classical music, watching quiz shows, gardening, baking and cookery. She was an active member of The Friends of Corporation Park.

She will be greatly missed but her family take solace in the multitude of loving memories of happy times spent with her.
