James Patrick David Garvey ‘Jamie’Much loved husband and son
On Sunday 6th May 2108, suddenly at his home, Jamie aged 39 years of Clayton-le-Moors and formerly of Gt Harwood. Much loved husband of Jane, dearly loved son of Linda and the late David, stepson of Jack, brother of Sarah, a much loved step-father and step-grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle and a dear friend to many.
Jamie was born in 1979 the dearly loved son of Linda and the late David and brother of Sarah. He attended St Augustine’s School and made friends there that he kept in touch with all his life. He met his wife Jane whilst volunteering with a local private ambulance service and they were happily married for 15 years. Both Jamie and Jane spent many holidays visiting caravan parks throughout the country. They were both very keen Accrington Stanley fans attending both home and away matches. Jamie was well-known as a great conversationalist and loved nothing better than giving his analysis of the latest Stanley match, in his own unique style. If Stanley lost, it was always the referees fault!
Jamie will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
