James Guilfoyle ‘Jim’

On 28th October 2023 in hospital, Jim aged 68 years of Great Harwood, formerly of Accrington and Rishton. The loved dad of Adrian and Louise and  grandfather to Finley.

Jim spent his working life at Royal Mail, Blackburn working as a postman and later in the letter sorting department. He was an avid reader and loved to settle down at home and lose himself in his latest book. A keen animal lover, Jim gave a loving home to many pets over the years including cats and dogs. He was a life long supporter of Blackburn Rovers and enjoyed many trips to Ewood to support his team. In his younger years, Jim was a well known local face and he was the former treasurer at Rishton United.
