James Edwards “Jim”

At his home on 3rd April 2018, Jim aged 89 years of Church, Accrington. The devoted husband of the late Edna, step-dad of Anne, Eric and Stephen.

Jim served in the army at the end of World War 2 and in later years also worked as a BT engineer and at Remploy. Jim enjoyed a night out at the local clubs where he would enjoy a pint and a smoke. He also enjoyed a flutter on the horses and spent many hours studying horse racing form and he often got lucky with a win. Jim loved his dogs and always enjoyed taking them out for a walk. He was good company and always entertained everyone with his many tales.
