Requiem Mass will be offered at Our Lady & St. Huberts Church, Great Harwood followed by committal at Accrington Crematorium

on 11th January 2026 peacefully at home, Tony, aged 85 years. A loving Dad, Grandad, Partner and Friend to many.

After leaving St Mary’s School for boys Tony used his gift of learning to become a Technical Representative for the Pharmaceutical company Bayer. he would be required to speak at company and business events and so taught himself German so he could speak to his colleagues in their native tongue. A deeply religious man, he spent time fundraising and helping his local church with events as well as acting as a Reader and helper during services and Masses. his passing and loss will be felt by many people and he will be greatly missed.

Tony was a true gentleman and we will treasure the happy memories we have of Tony and Maureen sitting in the garden on nice sunny days with a beer putting the world to rights. Our condolences to Maureen and all Tony’s family we will miss Tony. Rest in peace and fly high with the angels.
