Jackie Goodall

Peacefully surrounded by her family at Springhill Care Home on 2nd October 2019, Jackie aged 79 years of Great Harwood. The devoted wife of the late Dr David Goodall, much loved and loving mum of Paul, Mark, Neil and Shona, dear mother-in-law of Michelle, Jill, Mel and Tim, a cherished grandma and a dear relative and friend to many.

Jackie was born and raised in Garston, Liverpool where she attended school and the local Methodist Church, she had always remained proud of her roots and was a true Liverpudlian at heart. Jackie spent her life as a housewife devoting her time and love to her adored family, she was an active member of Trinity Methodist Church and was always heavily involved in Church activities, she was the founder of the mother and toddler group at the Church and was always on hand to help with the luncheon club. Jackie doted on children and was always on hand to help with the care of her grandchildren and always had a game in her artillery to keep the children entertained.

In her younger years Jackie spent time in India with the Methodist Missionary Society assisting her husband David with his wonderful work in the community.

Donations are being received in memory of Jackie on behalf of Alzheimer’s Society.
