I am not a psychic, but for some unknown reason, I don’t know what made me think of Ian today after so many years since leaving Billinge Grammar School, Blackburn in the early 1970s. I went on to linked in to search for Ian with a view to getting in touch with him. To my shock, I am deeply saddened to learn that Ian has sadly passed away in May of this year. Ian and I were class fellows at Billinge in the late 1960s. Please pass on my sincere deepest condolences to Ian’s family. Mohammed Iqbal Essa – JP
