Henry Brooks (Harry)

On 7th October 2019 suddenly at his home in Burnley, Harry aged 86. The dearly loved partner of Susan, dear uncle of Linda Jane, Tommy and Caroline, also a well respected friend to many.

Harry worked as a University Administrator at Bradford, Leeds, East Africa and also Loughborough. He enjoyed his work and was meticulous in his role. He was a passionate cricket and football fan, and played cricket for many years and he was president of Lowerhouse Cricket Club. A lifelong Burnley FC fan and season ticket holder, Harry attended all the home and away matches. His love of sport took him all over the country and he also enjoyed his holidays relaxing in the sunshine. A strong and determined character and a man of honour, Harry’s word was his bond. R.I.P. Harry.
