Memorial Book
Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on 21st August 2025, Helen aged 78 years of York Village, Langho. The devoted and much-loved wife of Roy, loving and loved mum of Amanda, Robert and Kathryn, dear mother-in-law of Matthew, cherished grandma of Kai and Ella, and a dear sister of Andrew and his wife Lyn, and also a dear relative and friend to many.
Helen was the most devoted wife and mum and gave all her time to raising her family, always ensuring the family home ran like clockwork. Family was at the centre of her world and she always ensured they had everything they needed. She enjoyed shopping and was a regular face at M&S and Debenhams, and her wardrobe could rival that of any fashion outlet. She took great pride in her appearance, wherever she went her hair and makeup would be applied to perfection. She always looked forward to her trips to the hairdresser and remained loyal to her stylist for many years.
Days out were always enjoyed with her family, whether on trips to cafés for a spot of lunch, or on holidays which were a favourite time for Helen, especially with her friends, ‘The Golden Girls.’ Together they shared many wonderful breaks both in the UK and Spain.
Helen was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
Family flowers only, please. Donations can be made in Helen’s memory on behalf of East Lancashire Hospice.

It was a sad day when we got the call that you had passed. You are now free from pain & able to fly high in the sky keeping a watchful eye over the family. We had so many happy times together. When we were younger & later with our own family’s, gathering at Christmas & New Year at either Mum & Dads or Joe & Florence’s house. Lyn & i also have happy memories of you & Amamda as our Bridesmaids & even Robert played his part with the lucky horseshoe. We will never forget you.
REST IN PEACE HELEN
