Harry Skinner

On 27th January 2021, peacefully at his home in Simonstone, Harry, aged 83 years. The dearly beloved husband of Kath, cherished dad of Vikki, also a loved brother, brother in law and uncle.

Harry was a textile manager at Taskers in Burnley for many years and made many friends there. Harry had been born with a great love of the outdoors and spent many a happy hour on his tractor, cutting hedges, mowing grass and planting his conifers. He loved his fast cars and would play his Jazz music as loud as he could. Many happy days out driving were enjoyed, taking in beautiful scenery followed by a nice meal. Harry and Kath also loved their holidays abroad. Harry had a great love of walking with his beloved dogs he’d had over the years – something that he shared with Vikki. Known as Happy Harry, he will be remembered for his whistle and for being the loveliest, most gentle man.
