Harold Feeley
On 2nd February 2022, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, Harold, aged 78 years of Accrington. A loving a much loved brother, uncle and true friend. Harold will be sorely missed by all.
Harold began his working life in the mills and then worked on building sites. He spent several years working in Jersey and a highlight of his life was working on Jack Walker’s house there and with Harold being a huge Burnley fan, when Jack brought a tray of beer out for the lads he always joked that he wasn’t giving one to ‘that Burnley fan’. Harold returned to Accrington to care for his mum during her illness and then joined his brother Colin, working at Calderstones Hospital as an Auxiliary. Ever caring with a big heart, Harold was filled with sunshine and he loved people. He was charismatic with a lovely smile and a twinkle in his eye. He loved his food and socialising but most of all he loved his visits to the bookies, often placing a lucky bet. In his earlier years he enjoyed going to York Races and New Market. Then following his retirement, Harold enjoyed going to Bury shopping with his sister Marianne. Family times were always precious and Harold will be dearly missed by his loving family and many friends. R.I.P.
Donations in memory of Harold are being gratefully received on behalf of Derian House Children’s Hospice via the blue donate button at the bottom of this page.

I have many happy memories of my lovely Uncle Harold which I’ll cherish forever he certainly was a character. You fought with strength and dignity and always had a smile for every visitor. I take comfort in the fact that you will be back with my dad, in betting heaven, pint in hand and putting the world to rights. Rest in peace Uncle H gone but never forgotten xxx

Sad to see the news of Harold’s passing. I used to love having football banter with him and Colin before we moved to Canada. The two of them will be missed. Rest In Peace my friend.
