Glyn Alan Lucas

Passionate wildlife photographer

On 28th April 2018 peacefully at his home, Glyn aged 66 years of Altham. Dearly loved and loving husband of Sue, much loved Dad of Rob and Rhi, Kathy (Batman) and Jack.

Glyn worked for Bolton Council in the finance department for 24 years. In his spare time he loved photography, especially photographing wildlife and his camera was his most prized possession. He even developed his own photographs and was a member of a professional photography club. He loved reading history and non-fiction and liked a bit of Harry Potter too. Glyn was a massive Manchester United fan and also enjoyed cricket having played indoor cricket himself in his younger years. Family was very important to Glyn and he went out for lunch with Sue every Friday. Fish and chips being one of his favourites. He was well known for always wearing the hat that he bought in Australia when he went to visit his cousins.
