Gladys Briggs

On 2nd July 2020 peacefully at Moorhead Care Home Gladys aged 96 years.

Devoted wife to the late Alan, loving mum to Colin, the late David and the late Alan, much loved mother in law to Valerie, a cherished grandma to Tracy and Michelle, great grandma to Hayley, Stephanie, Patrick, Emma and Freya. Gladys was also loved by her extended step family Dean, Stacy, Kai, Deacon, Karson and Kayen.

Gladys was born and raised in Burnley, upon leaving education Gladys took to employment in a local factory where she became a Sewing Machinist.

In her spare time Gladys enjoyed studying the piano qualifying in her examsand teaching others how to play, she also loved riding pillion on her beloved husband Alan’s motorbike.

Gladys also enjoyed knitting, swimming, yoga and holidays to her favourite destination Benidorm.

She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
