Gillian Holt

Passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family, on 22nd September 2019.Gillian aged 64 years of Padiham. The devoted and much loved wife of Peter, loving mum of Catherine, Heather and Victoria, dear mother-in-law of Andre, David and Ashley, cherished grandma of Britteny, Abigail, Charlotte, Daniel Jenson and Ben, also a loved sister to Norma and Colin.

Gillian spent her working life as a nursery nurse, she loved her work and always enjoyed being surrounded by children. She later worked as a family outreach worker for Sure Start at the Chai Centre Burnley and continuing to spread her love to all the families that needed her. At home Gillian loved to do craft work, she was super talented and could turn her hand to any craft, she especially enjoyed all needle work including cross stitch. She was an amazing baker and could decorate the most fabulous cakes. Holidays were a favourite time of Gillian’s and she loved getting away on an adventure with her husband Peter, together they travelled the globe, visiting many countries.

Most of all Gillian was a devoted family lady who loved all her children and grandchildren equally and always looked forward to spending time with them.
