Gilbert ‘Vernon’ Houghton

On 4th February 2020 peacefully at The Hollies Nursing Home Vernon aged 77 years.

Dear brother of Iris and the late Jeff, brother in law to don and uncle to Caroline.

Vernon spent most of his working life Textile Printing, in his spare time Vernon enjoyed to socialise and his favourite local in the latter years of his life was the Broadway Pub in Accrington where he had a good circle of friends.

Vernon was a generous man who was very likeable, he will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
