George Edward Liddle

Peacefully on 13th June 2019 following a brave battle, George aged 75 years of Clayton-le-Moors.  The devoted and much loved husband of Carol, loving dad of Stephen, Robert and Josephine, cherished grandad of Pieter and Oliver, loving brother of Janine and Diane, a dear uncle and a good friend to many.

George worked as Senior Design Engineer at BAE Systems for over forty years.  He was a hard worker and his work took him all over the world.

An active man, George loved walking, cycling and sailing and he enjoyed attending music concerts at the Bridgewater Hall with his wife Carol.  He was also passionate about the environment and caring for it as well as being a keen gardener.
