Garry Owen Auld
Suddenly at his home on 23rd April, 2022 Garry, aged 71 years of Accrington. Husband of Patsy, much loved and loving dad of Kerrie and Adam, dear father-in-law of Alistair and Sarah and a cherished grandad to Lorcan and Harlan.
Following his school years, Garry served with the Merchant Navy. He spent his whole working life as a Merchant Seaman, travelling across the globe working his way through the ranks to become a Radio Officer, spending long periods away from home often up to twelve months at a time. Garry was an avid life long Manchester United supporter and enjoyed trips to the matches with his son Adam. Garry loved the outdoors and walked miles each day. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing pool and darts and his favourite drink was always a Rum and Coke. Garry was a family man and always looked forward to spending time with those closest to him.
