Ellen Jones (Nellie)

On 25th November 2019 peacefully in a private care home, Nellie aged 79 years of Accrington. The dearly beloved wife of John, much loved sister of Keith, Bill and Bernard, much loved sister in law of Shirley and Linda and a loving auntie and great auntie.

Nellie and John have spent over 40 years of a truly happy marriage together and they always had their holidays in Blackpool. Nellie had many  happy days  at Woodhaven, The Peter Pan Club and the day centres she attended.  She enjoyed the various activities from gardening to concerts and was a great Elvis fan too. She also enjoyed embroidery and had also been a great fan of The Houghton Weavers.  Her favourite TV program was Casualty. Nellie was a kind and gentle lady and loved all her family.
