Donald Rigby

On the 12^th October 2021, peacefully at Lowfield House Care Home, Donald aged 97 passed away.

Donald was a true farmer and had occupied farms across the Ribble Valley and Oldham.  Donald was one of five children born to Walter and Mary Louise Rigby.  In his younger years Donald enjoyed dancing in Whalley and Clitheroe with his close friends.  

Donald enjoyed many a visit to his caravan from close friends and family. In particular, his younger sister Dorothy and her husband Colin who sadly is no longer with us but was incredibly missed by Donald. 

Donald loved a good natter and would give anyone his time sharing all of his farming stories. 

The family would like to extend their thanks to Lowfield House Care Home for all of the care and support given to Donald.
