Diana Kemble

Peacefully in hospital on 10th August 2023, Diana aged 81 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted and much loved mum of Louise, Nicola, Helen and Lindsay, dear mother-in-law of Mark and Gary, cherished nan of Victoria, Christopher, Barry-John, Elena, Anna, Josef and Noah great nana of Madison, Ethan, Harper, Leo and Arthur, dear sister of Ken and John, sister-in-law of Jean and Gladys and also a dearly loved relative and friend to many.

Diana was born in Blackpool and lived in Thornton-Cleveleys before making the move to Clayton-le-Moors in the early 1980’s where she settled well and became a well known and loved face in the local community. Diana was always active and loved to be on the go helping others, she was treasurer for Willow Close Community Centre and helped organise many outings for the residents. Diana spent her working life in offices and with her super organisational skills she was always a well respected member of her working team and made many good friends along the way. She adored Ballroom dancing and spent many happy hours at the Winter Gardens and she loved to listen to music. In her younger years, Diana spent many happy times travelling to Italy and the Isle of Man enjoying a break with her friends and in later years she always looked forward to a coach trip with her friend Mary. Diana was the most doting family lady and loved each of her girls and all of her grandchildren.
Diana will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
