Denis Taylor ‘Den’

At his home at Great Harwood with his family at his side on 2nd November 2023, Denis aged 72 years. The devoted and much loved husband of Gaynya, loved and loving dad of John, Andrew, Donna and Danielle, dear father-in-law of Greg, a cherished grandad and dear brother of Carol and the late Alan, a dear brother-in-law and Denis was also a well respected relative and friend to many.

Denis was a well known face in the Hyndburn community through his work at Joseph Arnold where he worked as the warehouse manager, he was always a well respected member of his working team making many friends along the way. In the mid 1990’s Denis along with his wife set up their family business DT Packaging, Rishton, creating the perfect working partnership and becoming well respected employers in the local community, following his retirement the reigns of the business were handed down to his children. He was an avid football follower and devoted Blackburn Rovers Supporter and season ticket holder, he loved to keep up to date with his team and would always be in his seat at Ewood to cheer them on. Denis ‘DT’ adored his family and always looked forward to getting away for some fun and relaxation at his favourite destinations, Benidorm and Blackpool, over the years he has shared many wonderful and wild trips with family and friends, he loved to party and could often be found chatting away to his many friends whilst enjoying his Bacardi and coke and he was known to often appear in fancy dress.
