Debra Jane Turner (Debs)

Suddenly but peacefully at her home on 20th May 2022, Debs aged 49 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The much loved and loving mum of Carla and Charlie, adored daughter of Sheila and the late Wilf, cherished grandma of Mia-Rose, Jack, Jasper and Isaac, dear sister of Lorraine and Gill, a dear niece, auntie, relative and best friend to Donna, Jackie, Laura and Maria.

Born and bred on Arthur Street Clayton-le-Moors, Debs was a well loved face in the local community and an adored member of all her ‘family’ on Arthur Street, where she enjoyed many parties and her home always had an open door policy. Debs worked at Asda for over nineteen years where she was a highly respected member of ‘The George Team’ making many good and loyal friends over the years. A social butterfly, Debs loved to be out and about enjoying a meal or a drink with her many friends, she was a regular face in the Hare and Hounds, Wellington, Albion and Forts Arms where she could often be found smiling away whilst enjoying her favourite tipple, Fireball Whiskey, Vodka or a lager and she was always the life and soul of the party. At home she loved to watch Athletics and the Olympics on the TV with her son Charlie and loved nothing more than a good 80’s night or gathering with friends for one of her special ‘cake nights’. Holidays were always enjoyed and her most memorable holiday was a once in a life time trip to New York, a place she dreamed of returning to.
Most of all Debs was a devoted family lady who always enjoyed gathering the family for a catch up. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
