David Wilson (Dave)

Suddenly on 4th April 2019, David aged 74 years of Great Harwood.  The devoted and much loved husband of Rita, a dear uncle to many, loved brother-in-law, brother, good friend and neighbour to many.

David was a gardener for Hyndburn Borough Council.  He loved his work as foreman of the ‘mobile gardening gang’ who looked after all the parks and open spaces in Hyndburn.

In his spare time,  David enjoyed dancing, walking, antique dealing as well as meals out.  Very much a family orientated man, David was also an avid Bentley lover who always admired his dream motors.  He always said he was only “£149,000 from owning is own”.
