David Robinson
Peacefully in hospital surrounded by his loving family and listening to his favourite music, David aged 56 years of Clayton-le-Moors, formerly of Rishton. The adored and loving dad of Leah and Samuel, loved son of Elsie, cherished grandad of Freddie, Stanley, Thomas and Franklin, dear twin brother of Mark, loved partner of Lesley and a well respected relative and good friend to many.
David spent his working life as an engineer working for many years at Baxi before making the move to Pipeline Induction Heat ltd, he loved his work and made many good and loyal friends over the years. Music has always played a big part of David’s life and in his younger years he played in several bands as bass guitar and vocalist, becoming a well known face within the local community. David was a sociable man who always looked forward to getting out to enjoy a pint and catch up with his mates and was a regular face in the Greyhound Pub and The Crown where he was a member of the pool team, he also enjoyed snooker and darts. A life long Blackburn Rovers Supporter, David loved to keep up to date with his team, a passion that he shared with his son Samuel. He was the most doting dad and grandad and loved nothing more than spending time with his ‘babbies’. Earlier this year David was fortunate to share a family holiday to Cornwall with his adored partner Lesley.

So very sorry to hear the news of David’s passing. Working with David for many years at Padiham was a great pleasure. A skilled engineer and with such a great sense of humour. I lost touch with David when the move to Baxi at Preston was made but will never forget him. Thinking of all the family now at such a sad time.
