David John Hall – Dave

On 15th December 2021, suddenly at his home, Dave, aged 76 years of Billington. The dearly loved and devoted son of the late Winnie and John and a much loved friend to many.

Dave spent most of his working life in maintenance at Calderstones Hospital before taking early retirement. He loved to go on shoots with his beloved Cocker Spaniels trained by himself to retrieve – his dogs were the love of his life. In his earlier years, Dave enjoyed many golfing holidays with his mates to places such as Portugal, Tunisia and Spain. A member of Whalley Golf Club, he enjoyed playing in the competitions and thoroughly enjoyed the 19th Hole with one of Julia’s bacon baguettes. He loved his sports cars, his computer, watching football and golf on TV. But most of all, Dave loved the many happy times spent with his good mates, who were like family to him. There was always much laughter, many jokes and an abundance of happiness wherever he went. Mornings at CJ’s will never be the same. Rest in peace Dave x
