David Imre Palffy (Dave)

Peacefully in hospital following a brave fight and surrounded by his loving family, Dave aged 60 years of Altham West.  The devoted and much loved husband of Anne, loving dad of Lauren, David and Alex, dear father-in-law of Tessa, cherished grandad of Jack, Myla and Theo, dear son of Tamas and June, loved son-in-law of Stella and the late Brian, and also a dear relative and friend to many.

Dave started his working life at GEC as a trainee electrician.  He later moved into sales and eventually worked his way up to being General Manager.  Dave was a hard worker who always provided for his family.

A lover of football, Dave was a lifelong fan of Manchester United and he had both played for and managed Enfield football team where his two sons had also played. Holidays and walks were special times for Dave along with meals out with his wife Anne.  Dave loved his garden, complete with hot tub which he always maintained, and he loved to relax in it with his family.  Dave was very family orientated and was a proud dad and grandad who will be dearly missed.
